Freecells is a free-to-play online golf simulator.
The game lets players take control of a ball that travels through a course at different speeds, and each time a player hits the ball the ball will move faster.
Players can earn money by earning points, and by being able to hit the ball with the fastest speed.
The free version of the game allows players to play with up to five players.
It has been downloaded more than 300,000 times, according to the game’s developer, Greenlight Games.
“It was just really fun,” the developer said in a Facebook post.
“We had a great time.
It’s been a lot of fun for me, too.”
Freecells has been criticised for being a gambling simulator, with one player even threatening to call police to prevent the game from being played.
The developer has not commented on whether the game will be removed from the app store.

A Facebook post by the developer, which was shared by Greenlight games, said the game was designed to allow players to “learn from their mistakes, learn from their successes, and hopefully, learn the value of teamwork”.
“This game is so easy to learn, you can just pick up and play for hours on end,” the post read.
“But if you want to improve your game, you need to learn from your mistakes, and you need that teamwork.”
