A group of developers has created a free game that lets you play as a giant spider and a monkey, a feat that makes the game “the first ever to use an actual spider,” the developers write.
You play as the giant spider in the classic game “Ape Escape,” and then the monkey is your sidekick in the latest game, “Spiderman: Web Warriors,” which was recently released.
It’s a feat achieved by the developers of the free game “Tropical Storm: Up the River,” which you can check out for free on Android and iOS devices.
The game uses the game engine that powers popular Android and iPhone games like “Tiny Toon Adventures,” “Shoot-a-Mole,” “Monster Truck” and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.”
The game’s developers, Mike Klimas and Matthew Klima, wrote the tutorial video above.
It takes just five minutes to learn how to play as both characters.
The video starts with a quick walk through the game world, but it also goes into a little more depth about the game’s mechanics, such as the “Spidermaster” and the ability to customize your characters.
In the video, Klimos says that while he and Klimatas aren’t exactly “creating art for a living,” they’re hoping to get their hands on the next big free-to-play game.
They’re also hoping to launch the game on a platform like Steam or Apple’s App Store in the future.
In a similar vein, Klevin says that “Spidermonkey” is also something he’s “been working on for a while,” though the game has only just been officially announced.
“It’s kind of a little bit of an experiment, and we’re just going to see what happens,” Klevinsaid.
The “Spidermonkey” team has since launched “Apes Escape,” the first free game released on Android.
The team wrote a brief video about the creation of the game in which they explained how to create your character and explain the various abilities you can use.
The creators say that the game is “a fun little adventure with an interesting twist.”
The video concludes with a brief description of what to expect in the game.
“The game uses an actual Spidermaster character in the original game, which we added in the final version of the project,” the creators wrote.
The Spidermaster’s powers include “a range of powerful attacks, including an ability to create webbing around itself,” and a “poison cloud that can affect nearby enemies and even a giant poisonous spider.”
“Spider Monkey” has been downloaded about 15,000 times, Kravin said.
“That’s pretty amazing, considering the project has only been announced a couple of weeks ago,” he added.
“I think we’re all pretty excited about it.”
